Autumn Nails

For my first blog post, I thought I'd share something season appropriate. Autumn is suddenly upon us, and what better way to mark the season than to get berry coloured nails. This was my second time getting my nails painted with shellac, and I am just as impressed as the last time. They are incredibly shiny, and I don't need to worry about them chipping, so I am very pleased. The colour I went for is a dark berry, seeing as it's that time of year where berry colours are a fashion statement, especially this year with berry nails and berry lips being 'the thing.' Here is a photo of my Autumn nails
The colour is perfect for this time of the year, but you don't need to spend a lot of money or even worry about shellac to find this colour. Barry M do a colour called Red Wine which is the same colour. Although it will not last as long as shellac, it is less than a sixth of the price, so much easier on the wallet, and a good base coat and top coat can give your nails more shine and give the varnish more longevity. It can be purchased at Superdrug and Boots, and is £2.99.
